Local Walks

Walk 1.
River Stour – Cut Mill – approximately 5 miles (look out for the yellow or blue arrows indicating public right of way).

This walk follows the fertile river valley, crosses the Stour at the remote Cut Mill and returns along an ancient lane. King fisher, Heron and an abundance of riverside wildlife can be seen. An otter has even been spotted early one morning on this walk!

Walk 2.
Fiddleford Mill (approximately 4 miles). The walk follows the river Stour to the south west of the town and returns along the old Somerset and Dorset railway line.

Walk 3.
Newton Mill – Colber Bridge – approx 2 miles
A short walk out of the house, across the water meadows down to Colber Bridge and back along Stalbridge Lane.
